We support mission and evangelism activities of the current and newly established fellowships in the Czech Republic.
PROMISE CZ
is a team of people with passion for mission and evangelism and desire to help other Christians in their mission activities.

Our ministry is divided into three main areas:
We provide tools for sharing the gospel
In this area we focus on supporting mission and discipleship groups (Christianity Explored, Discipleship Explored, Life Explored, Hope Explored, SOUL, and MyLife Workshop, MyLife
in Christ) and providing short-term mission experience (Impuls weeks). In 2012, PROMISE extended its activities by supporting the Christianity Explored courses project. We’re so gratuful for our friends in Christianity Explored Ministries, and we’ve translated majority of their courses to the Czech language. Courses which helps people meet Jesus in the pages of Scripture so that they

From our history
The origin of the HledamBoha.cz project
The first steps of PROMISE were targeted at creating a website for non-believers, HledamBoha.cz. Daniel Chlebek took on leadership of the project and his wife Kristina was responsible for leading the e-coaches helping the searching people find God.
The first stages of the Christianity Explored courses
Launching of the Impuls Festival and Impuls Weeks
We organize the weekend IMPULS Festival, encouraging people to develop a personal relationship with God.
Impuls Draft Camp
“So be strong, act like a man.” (1 Kings 2:2) Impuls Draft Camp is targeted at encouraging young men to take responsibility for their lives and helping them find their own place in the society and church.
The first stages of the MyLife Workshop course
PROMISE CZ kept developing and started organizing the My Life Workshop and training leaders for it; it aims at developing the desire to search for God in the non-believers.
Establishment of an independent organization for HledamBoha.cz
The HledamBoha project became independent, with a new organization led by Jan Heřmanský.
We motivate you and prepare you for sharing the gospel
We organize the Impuls Festival and Impuls Draft Camp, training on sharing the gospel as well as trainings for the individual tools.
The first Impuls Festival took place, as an interdenominational weekend event encouraging Christians to get involved in evangelism and mission. It was followed by the Impuls Weeks organized in different towns across the Czech Republic. Christians were encouraged to share the gospel in the streets of their towns and invited people to some follow-up activities.
PROMISE CZ has engaged hundreds of volunteers and short-term co-workers in ministry as part of its projects. We provide training in the Czech Republic to ensure Christians are equipped to use our resources effectively. We train leaders.
We reach out to prisoners Our partnership with Czech branch of Prison Fellowship International https://mvs.cz/ saw the development of The Prisoner’s Journey, an adaptation of Christianity Explored Prison Edition, used in prisons throughout the world and also in the Czech Republic.
We share the gospel online
We operate website for people searching for God in the Czech Republic. Our HledamBoha.cz project has grown into an independent organization. In cooperation with HledamBoha.cz project we also recently prepared Codex course Christianity Explored.
WHAT IS OUR DIRECTION?
As PROMISE CZ we follow the joint vision:
We want to see the Czech Republic full of living and growing fellowships and churches using all resources and means available to share the joyful news about salvation in Jesus with all who are searching.
We want to see groups of believers praying together, studying God’s Word and trying to reach the non-believers around them in those places where there are no churches, and then growing and becoming integrated as congregations of the existing Christian denominations.
We also want to see all of the current churches as living and growing communities.
We are aware of the tremendous need for prayer support. The ministry the people in PROMISE CZ focus on is fully dependent on God’s grace and His work. We know that only He can touch human hearts and make people accept what they have heard, make it grow and produce fruit. We also realize that evangelism and mission is truly necessary so we want to ask our Lord for protection and direction, to keep going in the right direction and work according to God’s will.

Support of mission and discipleship groups
We translate and publish English materials for evangelistic and discipleship courses and distribute them. We also train the groups’ leaders and pray for the fruit of our joint ministry.
Training
We provide training for all evangelism tools we offer.
Donations
Support Bible study groups for nonbelievers in the Czech Republic. People will discover who Jesus is, what he achieved, and how he calls us to respond. Then, they can continue to study the Bible in discipleship groups for new believers.
All activities organized by PROMISE CZ are connected with costs and there is a need for financial resources to cover the costs related with them. If you see PROMISE CZ and its activities as meaningful, you can support it financially as well. We will be grateful for any financial gifts.

What we believe

We believe that Holy Bible, Old and New Testament, is literally the inspired Word of God which is our highest standard in matters of faith and morals, as well as the final authority for our lives.

We believe in one God who exists in three persons (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) Trinity.

We believe that man was created in God’s image. Through the fall of man, which caused moral depravity, the need arose to restore all mankind.

We believe in redemption through the vicarious death of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe that man can be justified by faith in God’s grace alone.
